REJUVINATING CREATIVITY: A Retreat for Art-Loving Urbanites
private group retreat
(ongoing - now booking groups of 10-20)
This retreat offers much-needed respite for the urban aesthete. Shiné's reboot recipe feeds the senses, spirit, and creative mind. The program is designed for busy city-dwellers, as a full-day retreat or an overnight stay.
Our time together will include:
- lectio divina in nature
meditative walk intuiting nature's messages
- Friends Meeting
you may choose instead of forest bathing, to ground your spirit within the Quaker tradition of gathering in silence to practice "expectant waiting"
- creative play
a process-driven crafts project, experiencing mindfulness through art without the angst around "getting it right"
- James Turrell Skyspace Opening
this permanent installation takes us deeper into our perception of light and space. world-renowned Turrell accents the color of the sky, appearing through an aperture in the ceiling, with carefully-timed cove lighting
- restorative movement with healing touch
an accessible, all-levels experience designed to relax the nervous system, including healing touch with elements of massage, energy work, and aromatherapy
